Would you like to keep moving during the summer time? Join the Bellydance and Pilates Summer Classes. 5 weeks of Bellydance classes at various levels for beginners, intermediate and advanced. This year you can also join Pilates classes during the summer time. You can join us for 1 or several classes. If you register for 5, 10 or 15 classes you get a discount!

Would you like to join the Summer Classes?
Register first using the application form. Choose the option `Summer Classes` and let us know which classes you would like to join, the amount of classes and on which dates. You can only join the classes if you have registered and have paid in advance! Note! You cannot sign up for a trial class.

Pilates:
Always wanted to try Pilates? Or like to continue your classes during the summer? These summer classes will give you the chance to try these classes without being committed to join for a course period. You can join 1 class or several. Pilates is a workout method that will improve your strength, flexibility and body awareness. It will make you feel more balanced, improve your posture and will prevent physical discomfort like stiff shoulders and lower back pain. It is also a good combination if you want to become better at bellydancing. It can be done by anybody no matter what age or level.

Shake that body – Shimmy’s: Are you looking for dance classes that are high energy and that will improve your stamina? These classes are fun and up beat and will guaranty a high energy workout!  Traveling by Shimmy: During this class you will learn several variations on shimmy´s on the toes, how to travel using these shimmy´s and how to apply these to the rhythm of the music. Work that upper body & Shimmy: During this class you will learn in which ways you can use your upper body while dancing on tabla solo. These classes are suited for beginners and for those who have no experience with Bellydance yet. But are also challenging for those who are already on a higher level.
Level: Open level & Beginners

Rhythm & Flow: During these classes we will work on improving your musical interpretation while dancing. Learning to really listen to the music, find its structure and practice to create your own variations in movement and energy while dancing yourself. This will help you while improvising but it can also give you a structure when you are creating your own choreo.
Level: Intermediate & Advanced

Smoothing out your Figure 8: During this class you will learn the many ways you can use a figure 8 in bellydance. You will learn several movements with different parts of your body and also patterns. We will also work on making these movements as smooth as possible. These classes are suited for beginners and for those who have no experience with bellydance yet. But are also suited for those who are already on a higher level and who would like to improve their technique.
Level: Open level & Beginners

Taksim & baladi: Always wanted to learn how to dance taksim? During this class you will learn what taksim is, how to racognise it and which movements you can use translating it into dance. You will work on conveying its emotion but you will also learn several techniques and movements typical used in dancing taksim. The taksim will be in baladi style.
Level: Intermediate & Advanced

Arm movement & emotion: Would you like to become better at showing and conveying emotion in dance? During these classes you will work on expressing emotions and feelings while dancing with your arms. The focus will be on emotion as well as technique. The main focus will be dancing with your arms. But we will also add your facial expression and body language and learn how to dig within.
Level: Open level & Beginners

Choreografie Stick Dance:
 During these classes you will learn a choreo on Shaabi music dancing with a stick. There are limited sticks at the classes. So if you have one yourself, bring it to the classes.
Level: Intermediate & Advanced
